New Import Conditions have been introduced by New Zealand.

All alpacas imported to New Zealand must meet these conditions.

All alpacas to be imported must be Australian Born and Bred and raised.

New Zealand will not accept any alpacas that have been previously imported from anywhere in the world.

It is also another condition, that all properties each alpaca has resided on during it's life, must present a declaration from their normal vet, and Department of Primary Industries, for disease clearances, for each Property.

New Australian Leglislation is also going through.

Travel By Air, Pregnancy status must be no further than 228 days pregnant at date of departure, from last Mating date.

Crias must be a minimum age of 3 months, and not less than 12 kgs.

Australia is respected all around the world for it's High level of Biosecurity, and animal managment.

Alpacas have been part of our family for the past 18.5 yrs, with my youngest only being 3 when we first bought the alpacas home, and my olders was 7 yrs old.

As long as they can remember, alpacas have been part of their lives, and our family unit includes alpacas.

Mariah Hill Alpaca Ranch began in 1990 as a pure Alpaca Breeding and Sales complex, and before long became known as a leading breeder of quality alpaca throughout Australia. Progeny from our elite quality breeding stock have been exported to England, Europe and New Zealand in addition to enjoying a strong Australian marketplace.

We are proud of acheiving our breeding goals and are consistently breeding super fine and fine alpaca, in most colours, supplying the Alpaca Fleece corp, with approx 1 1/2 ton of fleece annually.

For more than 10 years now, Mariah hill have exhibited many championship alpacas, at the local, Royals, and Interstate Royals, and National levels. Starting their herd with as little as 2 females and 1 male, we are now farming over 300 alpacas on 100 acres on their picturesque Nar Nar Goon Property.

With the continual overseas interest in alpacas bred by Mariah hill, Rob & Raelene decided the next step in their business venture, was to open a quarantine station for overseas buyers.

this will also assist their overseas clients in shipping their alpacas with little fuss for the importer.

All official documentation can be arranged, meeting the country of destination quarantine requirements. Supply of stock for overseas orders can be source to satisfy the importers requirements, and to meet any permit regulations.
